Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development from Tufts University and a Master of Science in Speech from Emerson College. I am a Certified Early Intervention Specialist, ASHA certified, and have a “Certificate in Auditory Learning in Young Children” from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have a working knowledge of Spanish and Signing Exact English (SEE-II).
I have worked in early intervention for 16 years and also have experience working in the Bedford public schools and the SEEM Collaborative. I have also provided consultation services to public schools.
I specialize in working with children with hearing loss who use hearing aids, cochlear implants, and/or hearing assistive technology (HAT). I also have experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and elementary aged children with the following disorders:
- Articulation and Phonological Processing Disorders
- CHARGE Syndrome
- Down Syndrome
- Hearing loss
- Oral motor/sensory
- Receptive and expressive language delays and disorders
